“I like children to enjoy what they are learning by finding out what music interests them.”
By including this – songs from shows, popular songs, jazz/rock etc along with the regular material, children are happy to commit to practising and motivated to learn. Some of her former students have gone on to become teachers themselves, or have become well-known in the field of pop music. Numerous students she has taught have been those with learning difficulties, and she takes pleasure in seeing their progress; knowing it will enrich their lives and aid in their overall learning.
As the Music Education Centre has different teachers over a range of locations, please contact our office on 0800 89 39 39 to find out where Raewyn is currently teaching, or which of our other great teachers may be available at your preferred location.
