tips for parents

   - No home keyboard practice is required on a regular basis at this stage.
Some children like to play a little bit at home and play along with the
CD and that’s great. Others are not interested in practice at all
                yet and that’s fine too.

- While able to understand the concepts of where the notes live.  Some children may
not yet have the fine motor muscle tone required to play keyboard notes.
When this muscle tone develops the child will be playing well, as all the learning is
done and they understand what to do.

- The best thing you can do for your child both developmentally and musically at
this stage is to encourage singing and listening to music.
